The Transportation Research Board Committee on Visibility, Committee on Simulation and Measurement, Committee on Signing and Marking Materials, Committee on Traffic Control Devices, Committee on User Information Systems, and Committee on Vehicle User Characteristics are jointly sponsoring a Symposium on Visibility and Simulation June 2-4, 2002. This Symposium will be the 16th in a series of symposia that have been held biennially since 1968.
This symposium will be held at the College of Engineering, University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. Tours to the National Advanced Driving Simulator (NADS), the Simulator for Interdisciplinary Research in Ergonomics and Neuroscience (SIREN), and the flight simulation laboratory of the Operator Performance Laboratory (OPL) will be available.
